China Wenchuan Earthquake Relief Benefit Concert
为了感谢大家在过去2周时间里对我们为中国四川地震灾区募捐活动
的大力支持和参与,塔城华人协会(CAT)和FSU中国学生学者联谊会(CSSA)
决定于本周六(5/31)下午4点由二个组织联合举办"至爱无疆"赈灾慈善音乐会。
届时邓海琼,徐辉,张国旺,尚晋兵,张惠媛等一批专业术工作者
将为大家表演古筝,钢琴,二胡,笛子,独唱等个人优秀节目,吕庆芳将
表演中国功夫-太极扇,张启波,王云松,高冬梅,汪春蕾等人将表演诗朗
诵,还有中文学校的童声合唱等,另外音乐会之前一个小时(3:00-4:00点)将
有刘南和杨晶等人的工笔画,中国书法和绘画展览,音乐会中间将有书法
和绘画艺术品拍卖。拍卖所得将全部捐给地震灾区。
音乐会对所有公众免费,欢迎大家光临欣赏。也欢迎邀请你们的朋友
一起光临。

音乐会前活动安排: 3:00--4:00, 中国书法和绘画展览;
参加音乐会注意事项:
1. 音乐会开始前我们要为四川地震遇难同胞默哀,如有可能请参加者尽量穿
素颜色服装;
2. 为了保持音乐厅的安静,6岁以下儿童请送到音乐厅旁边的房间,我们有专门人员看护小孩,请勿将6岁以下儿童直接带入音乐厅。谢谢!

China Wenchuan Earthquake
Relief Benefit Concert
Today marks the 17th day after the 8.0
magnitudes Wenchuan Earthquake in China.
This devastating earthquake has killed 68,516 people,
with another 19,350 people
missing. More than 5 million earthquake survivors are
homeless and struggling the
overcome the lost of their loved ones and
uncertainties.
In face of this horrific natural disaster, tens of
millions of oversea Chinese have
mobilized to donate funds and resources for the
earthquake disaster relief. The
Chinese Association of Tallahassee has organized
fundraising drives in our local
communities and has received warm supports. The
outpouring of sympathies and
supports has shown that love is without boundaries.
The weeklong fundraising campaign witnessed the
strengths of the human beings
united, showing their spirits of love and compassion.
The lasting images of this
earthquake relief fundraising are the caring and giving
of our local communities,
the enthusiasm and participation of our school kids, and
the unselfish contributions
and efforts of the volunteers.
As an appreciation for the support and good will of our
local communities, the
Chinese Association of Tallahassee and the FSU Chinese
Students and Scholars
Association (CSSA) is hosting a benefit concert this
Saturday May 31, 2008, at
FSU Opperman Music Hall. This concert is free to
the public. It is the climax of
the earthquake disaster relief fundraising campaign. The
concert features a number
of world-class musician and artists living in our
community.
This Saturday's event is composed of two parts. Starting
at 3:00 PM, there is a
Chinese calligraphy and painting demonstration by local
artists, with live traditional music background. The concert starts at 4:00
PM. A number of professional musicians and artists will perform exotic
music pieces with Guzheng, Erhu, flute and piano, as well as martial
arts and chorus.
